So...the day picture was taken...no ambulance...just a rider left early and asked me to pony her horse back to the staging area. Less than 1/2 mile. Piece of carrot cake. I have even ponied 2 stable horses for about 1/4 mile to return them from a guest ride. On this day I ponied the Palomino but held the Arab while his owner got the trailer door opened. By the way...what is wrong with the picture???
Jesse and The Desert Rose with Tigger and Mystro!
All correct responses to the question will have their name put in my cowgirl hat for a drawing. The winner gets the purse of her choice from my collection! LOL NOFUCKINGWAY!!! (25 cents in the cuss jar)! Actually it will be something Cowgirl...something fun...and something just for YOU!!!
Your Desert Rose!
You are missing your lemonade! Ya can't drink your lemonade while holding 2 horses!
ReplyDeleteNo fair, PG! That's what I was going to say!
ReplyDeleteYa, ponying is something Maria is not so good at. She'll do it, but only after throwing a temper tantrum first!
ReplyDeleteBTW, where is you visor??
Jesse is officially the King of the dessert! I don't know what's wrong. Probably something technical that I would have no idea about!
ReplyDeleteNot sure what's wrong with the picture. I'd need a better pair of glasses. My close-up vision is terrible. lol!
ReplyDeleteBaby Doll would never pony anything. She'd rather kick it to death first. She kicked the gelding out in the pasture so hard, yesterday, for getting to close that I thought his shoulder would have broken. I'm sure he was hurting.
She can be such a cranky b*tch. bah!
Ok...so remind not to sign up for the trail rides at your stable. How often do people end up needing ambulances around there? gah!

To pony another horse can be tough at times and you must have a very good horse in order to accomplish it be safe. Good Jesse!! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat is wrong with this picture??? Duh....I am not riding one of those horses!
ReplyDeleteI know I know I know!!! But I promised not to tattle and ruin it. I was right however about it being something a "horse ignorant" person would never know. So good luck to everyone else!
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I can't figure it out and I hid in the other room when you told everyone else...maybe the horses aren't supposed to be on opposite sides? Not sure how that works though, not enough room on one side for both? But I wouldn't want to be in the middle of two horses I was ponying! Jesse's a good boy, though!
