I know you all know that the Bossman will not have any tack that is not Black, White or Black and White to match Slick! So all of us at the stables got together and "BLEACHED" out Slick's coat for this special ride we were going on. Hell...the Bossman was so... color blind (intoxicated) that he did not even notice till half way through the ride!!!He got back at me though by almost pulling me off of Little Lady (AGAIN) as we tried to pose at our favorite photo opp stop! Here is the photo we should have gotten the 1st time!
Love the pictures, but I must be dense. I don't get what you mean by you "bleached" out Slick's coat....does that mean you actually put hair dye on the horse????
OMG! As picky as Bossman is about his beautiful TW, I can't believe he didn't KNOCK you off your horse for bleaching Slicks hair! I sure hope that's a temp. thing!? What in the world can you use on horse's hair that doesn't irritate their skin? Poor Slick, just doesn't look the same...LOLO Something tells me the prank has just begun....look out lady.
Yes, I know a black and white when I see one even if the hair is bleached out (cause I have one) and that is NOT Slick! I could tell from the first picture (know a buckskin too when I see it)....can't fool me....cute post.
The Desert Rose grew up loving horses and riding with her cousins although she never owned a horse of her own. At 35 her loving husband fullfilled her childhood dream of joining up with her fist horse, Major Special, barn name George. A Major Bonannza Son,George graced our lives for almost 9 years. Not ready to replace George but needing transition time, a little neglected, skinny, 2year old gelding named Jesse was leased. The Desert Rose told this baby not to call her mom....because he was not going to be the "one" to fill up the jagged hole George's death left in her heart. However this baby was a an old soul and it was not long before the greeting of a nicker...that grew to a loud whinny broke his way in to her broken heart. You join them 6 years later as they scout for new trails to blaze!
