MY HAPPY PLACE!

Our PNW house features an art gallery. Oh... but not just any art gallery, these beautiful creations have all been made by my grandchildren.I had them professionally framed and now they hang in the hallway leading from our kitchen to the bedroom hallway. I must make 50 trips a day past them and I really look at them every time I pass by! They make me happy...I have 2 new creations to add...Toby & Jed have recently gifted me with 2 of their new works of art!!!

  1. LMAO! This reminds me. When I was little I used to draw pictures for my grandma, more than she could frame I am sure. She would stick them on the wall in my dads old bedroom. After a wile I would notice they were gone and ask where they went to which my grandmother would reply "To the art gallery" which really meant they had hit the trash LOL! The funny thing is I use the same thing with my nephews when stuff off our fridge goes missing lmao.

  2. Hey there! I've been out of the blogging for a while, so I was just catching up on your posts that I have missed. First of all, congratulations on the new kitty!! What a beauty! Also, I LOVE the framed photos that your grandchildren drew...really, really nice...
I had to laugh at the "Cowboy shopping" -- but I gotta ask -- did you bring him home???? And finally, you are way tougher than me -- no way will I ride in the rain!! Snow, yes; rain, no way!!! I've missed all of you -- gotta get back in the loop!

  5. Those are awesome, so glad you kept and framed them. Most "kid art" is really priceless and should be displayed like art! It helps the kiddos realize their work is important, too! ;-)
