"The Rosette!"

Last Saturday our phone rang at 4:15 am! (I was still wide awake anyway) My loving husband answered the phone and after a few seconds I realized he was talking to the Rosebud who was 3 weeks away from her scheduled c section delivery of her 3rd (and final) baby. The Rosebud is a planner and had been nesting for a few months and pretty much ready for the new baby anyway but still she was surprised when her water broke early. We immediately sprung into action to get plane tickets, pack and get the kittens ready to go to The Doc and The Boy's Vet clinic. The trick was getting a ticket to the PNW from the desert during Easter and spring vacations. We tried all the airlines and could not get there for 3 days! Then my husband called again and WA LA 2 1st class tickets had opened up. However...we had to drive 2 hours to a distant airport, fly for 3 hours and then drive 3 more hours to get there in what should have been a 2 hour trip!!!

However we kept in touch by phone and are happy to say that Miss Wille Mae Jane arrived shortly before 1pm. She is "pre term" and for our family...little. 6lbs 11oz 19 inches long and lots of hair with some red tones.

Zsa Zsa and Wille Mae Jane!
