Lily LOVES Oliver!

This last weekend our East Coast grand daughters were visiting us in the desert for 4 days. Lily our 6yr old fell in love with Oliver and he was gentleman enough to let her drag him around even though he is 18 years old. He makes her look small!!!

Every night at bed time...I would read them a story and Oliver would lay in bed with her. She also loved Suzy Q....but Suzy was too fast for Lily and she ran and hid!

Also from now on Lily has chosen to be know as "The Rose Kid"! In any future posts she will be called, The Rose Kid!

Am I a lucky Zsa Zsa or what??? My life is blessed with wonderful grand children.

Your Desert Rose!

  1. Oliver does look really big! "The Rose kid" is pretty cute!

  2. So I don't remember Oliver being that BIG! Has he gotten bigger or is The Rose Kid very small?
    Cute pix!

  3. Cute pictures! My daughter has a big cat that looks just like Oliver; he is not that friendly though!

  4. How cute she is....and a rose at that! Your Oliver is quite handsome too!

My you really took care of those baby birds on your patio! What we won't do for a family.....even if it's wildlife! Good for you!
    Have a great day!

  5. Hi, I just tagged you to post the 6th photo in your 6th folder! You don't have to play if you don't want to but it's fun to see what everyone picks!! :-)
Go to my blog to see.

  6. What a doll! Oliver is such a beautiful cat. Did the girls get to visit the stable during their visit?

  7. Oh, I love those pics! Lily is getting so big. I love Oliver too, her reminds me of my beloved Aria, r.i.p! :)

  8. What fun! The Rose Kid is beautiful!

  9. Uh, yeah. Our cat is totally used to me and he wouldn't even sit in my lap while I was typing! He's not nearly the gentleman Oliver is. As a matter of fact, I'm pretty sure Fabio flipped me off when I put him on my lap while he was napping.

  10. If you have more than one picture program and have several 6 of 6 post them all!!! :-) More pictures more fun, huh??? LOL

We wish you Happy Trails
Jesse and his Desert Rose!
